SCCM invites the critical care community to submit proposals to help develop relevant, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to ensure consistent patient care. Proposals can be submitted by any SCCM member, SCCM committee, SCCM section, or external organization.
SCCM offers the opportunity for public comment to solicit feedback for a recommendation or new guideline. Comments will be reviewed by the guideline leadership or guideline panel and are advisory only.
Each year, SCCM recognizes members and their teams who are dedicated to advancing the field of critical care in patient safety, ethics, teaching, education, and more. Award nominations are open from June to September.
All SCCM voting members are eligible to respond to the call for leadership and are encouraged to submit a nomination.
