The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) periodically offers learning collaboratives focused on improving patient safety and the quality of care. These collaboratives provide unique opportunities for hospitals and associated professional groups to network, share experiences, and support one another in implementing and accelerating quality improvement initiatives.

Over time, SCCM has welcomed more than 350 intensive care units (ICUs), providing subject matter experts and connecting teams in their endeavors to successfully improve the outcomes of critically ill and injured patients
