ICU Liberation is the first initiative in the ICU Centers of Excellence program.
Get started in the ICU Centers of Excellence Program with the ICU Liberation Campaign, which aims to liberate patients from the harmful effects of an ICU stay and provides evidence-based strategies in a comprehensive bundle for the entire multiprofessional critical care team.

SCCM will accept only a limited number of hospitals into the program per year.

The ICU Centers of Excellence Program offers SCCM’s ICU Liberation Campaign QI program as its initial focus, with future plans to incorporate both existing and new SCCM QI programs to address a broad range of critical care needs. This phased approach will allow SCCM to build on the solid foundation of evidence-based practices and continuously enhance ICU patient care.
