Increase your ultrasound diagnostic skills and scanning proficiency with the Critical Care Ultrasound: Pediatric and Neonatal course. On completion, participants will be able to immediately integrate their learned skills into clinical practice.

The course includes:

  • 9.5 hours of ultrasound presentations by subject matter experts
  • 8 hours of hands-on training using live models and ultrasound equipment
  • Comprehensive Critical Care Ultrasound eBook
  • Pediatric ICU quick reference guide
  • Up to 17.5 accredited continuing education (ACE) credits and maintenance of certification (MOC) points

Topics covered include the latest pediatric and neonatal strategies in ultrasound image interpretation and diagnostic challenges including qualitative assessment of left ventricular function, focused assessment with sonography in trauma (FAST) and focused assessment for free fluid (FAFF) examinations, and much more.

After studying the text and viewing the presentations online, attend an eight-hour hands-on skills training session offered four times annually at various locations for your convenience. This full-day session is led by subject matter experts and uses live models to provide the realistic training needed to perform and interpret pediatric and neonatal ultrasound imaging. Significant interactive experience is ensured with a low attendee-to-faculty ratio.

A registrant’s cancellation of an in-person activity may incur a fee, at SCCM’s discretion. To reschedule an in-person activity, please contact SCCM Customer Service at least 30 days before the activity. If SCCM cannot hold an activity as intended, SCCM shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, or fees related to cancellation of travel and attendance associated with the event.
