This hands-on course focuses on acquisition of a single subcostal cardiac window and limited lung examination. High-fidelity simulation will be used to apply a protocolized approach to managing patients with cardiac arrest during pulse, rhythm, and echocardiography checks. Content includes 100 subcostal pathology clips of patients with septic shock and in-hospital cardiac arrest to demonstrate quick pattern recognition and facilitate interpretation.
Why is the subcostal view so important?
Led by expert faculty, this course uses live models to provide significant experience ensured with a low faculty-to-attendee ratio.
This course is offered as a Critical Care Congress precourse. Stay after the course to further your critical care education. Learn more.
