Dr. Vincent is a Professor of Intensive Care Medicine at the French-speaking University of Brussels in Brussels, Belgium, and President of the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine. In this article, Dr. Vincent and coauthors investigate the impact of various facets of intensive care unit organization on outcome in a large cohort of ICU patients from different geographical regions.
