Developed in collaboration between the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and the National Emerging Special Pathogens Training and Education Center (NETEC), this dynamic webcast, with a special focus on the Democratic Republic of the Congo, equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during Ebola outbreaks.

Participants will gain up-to-date insights into the current outbreak and explore realistic, evidence-based approaches for managing critically ill patients with Ebola virus disease in resource-variable settings. The session will highlight actionable strategies for infection prevention and control, appropriate use of PPE, and measures to protect healthcare workers while they deliver high-quality care.

Drawing on lessons learned from previous Ebola responses in both local and international regions, this webcast focuses on adaptable, frontline solutions to strengthen clinical decision-making, team safety, and patient outcomes across diverse care environments.
