Explore the practical applications, opportunities, and limitations of generative AI in critical care through a dynamic half-day, interactive course. Designed for clinicians seeking to responsibly integrate AI into practice, this course moves beyond basic prompt engineering to focus on effective context design, model evaluation, and clinical decision support.
Through interactive exercises, you will develop real-world ICU use cases, compare responses across multiple AI models, and evaluate outputs for accuracy, bias, omissions, and potential safety concerns. Expert faculty will also examine emerging challenges associated with healthcare AI, including hallucinations, clinician overreliance, hidden biases, and other system failure modes.
