Expand your fundamental echocardiographic skills and knowledge in this hands-on half-day course. Receive active training with an echosonographer aimed at pro tips for image optimization. Learn to interpret certain pathologic images such as quantifying mitral regurgitation, aortic stenosis, deceleration time, and pressure half time.
Plus, practice performing measurements and tracings using pathologic examples. Expert faculty will utilize a transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) simulator for a hands-on review of the basics of TEE imaging and discuss the indications for and risks of performing TEE.
This course is not intended for beginner point-of-care ultrasound practitioners.
