Ludwig Lin, MD, speaks with Mark Mikkelsen, MD, MSCE, about the article, “Why ICU Clinicians Need to Care about Post-Intensive Care Syndrome,” published in Critical Connections. Dr. Mikkelsen works as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the co-chair of the Society’s new THRIVE initiative, which aims to improve patient and family support after critical illness.
