The Society of Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM) first Critical Care Ultrasound course held by the Palestinian American Medical Association demonstrated the value of combining expert instruction, hands-on learning, and strong local collaboration to advance critical care education.
From instructor training through the learner course itself, the initiative provided participants with a high-quality educational experience that focused on developing practical ultrasound skills for bedside patient care. Interactive lectures and hands-on scanning sessions allowed participants to apply new concepts in real time, strengthening their confidence and competency in critical care ultrasound.
Feedback from both instructors and participants was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the course's educational value and the collaborative spirit that defined the event. The success of the program highlighted the impact of SCCM's evidence-based educational model and reinforced the importance of expanding access to specialized critical care training opportunities around the world.
