The cochairs of the 2026 Critical Care Congress discuss what to expect at the 2026 Congress, to be held in Chicago, Illinois, from March 22-24, 2026.

Dear Colleagues,

We are proud to invite you to the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (SCCM) 2026 Critical Care Congress in Chicago, Illinois. This gathering promises to be an extraordinary convergence of minds, innovation, and collaboration. As Congress cochairs, it is our honor to help lead this event that continues to shape the future of critical care through cutting-edge science, multiprofessional education, and global engagement.

Congress reflects our commitment to embracing transformative science and technology while remaining grounded in the compassionate, evidence-based care that defines our work. From the presidential address and honorary lectures to the diverse array of sessions, presentations, and networking events, this year’s program is designed to inspire and empower every attendee.

We are especially proud of the global representation and the collaborative spirit that defines Congress. With contributions from leaders in critical care across continents and sessions that span surgery, sepsis, pediatrics, and beyond, this is a unique opportunity to learn from one another and to build lasting professional relationships.

Beyond the educational content, Congress is a celebration of our vibrant community. Your dedication to improving outcomes for critically ill and injured patients is what drives the continued success of Congress. We look forward to an inspiring week together.

Warm regards,
