Sample Letter to Hosted Course Instructors

Dear (instructor):

Thank you for agreeing to participate as an instructor for the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (training name) hosted training, which is being hosted by (hosting site) at (location) on (dates). I will be your contact if you have questions before the training. Please read the information below in preparation for the course.

Enclosed please find the following materials:

• Hosted training schedule and assignments
• Content you will be presenting or leading
• Textbook content corresponding with your materials
• A map (if needed) and hotel information (if needed)
• For ultrasound courses only: Summary questions pertaining to your presentation(s)

(If learners will be expected to complete modules online before attending in-person training, inform the instructor here.)

The pretest and posttest are online. Test questions or answers should not be discussed during the training.

The training will start promptly at (time) on (date). If you could arrive by (time), we would greatly appreciate it. The registration area will open for learners at (time) and a continental breakfast will be available (if applicable).
