Expand your fundamental echocardiographic skills and knowledge in this hands-on half-day course. Receive active training with an echosonographer aimed at pro tips for image optimization. Learn to interpret certain pathologic images such as quantifying mitral regurgitation, aortic stenosis, deceleration time, and pressure half time. Plus, practice performing measurements and tracings using pathologic examples. Expert faculty will review the basics of transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging using a TEE simulator and discuss the indications and risks of performing TEE.
