As trusted sources of health information, critical care clinicians play an influential role in building confidence in COVID-19 vaccinations. A survey commissioned by the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) found that 80% of parents and caregivers received vaccine information from a healthcare professional. However, 35% of parents and caregivers reported having concerns about vaccinating their children.
SCCM offers resources to help address misconceptions and communicate information effectively.
