Obtain the realistic training needed to perform and interpret pediatric ultrasound imaging.
Increase your ultrasound diagnostic skills and scanning proficiency with the Critical Care Ultrasound: Pediatric and Neonatal course. Earn up to 17.5 accredited continuing education (ACE) credits and maintenance of certification (MOC) points. On completion, participants will be able to immediately integrate their learned skills into clinical practice. Topics covered include the latest pediatric and neonatal strategies in ultrasound image interpretation and diagnostic challenges including qualitative assessment of left ventricular function, focused assessment with sonography in trauma (FAST) and focused assessment for free fluid (FAFF) examinations, and much more. After studying the text and viewing the presentations online, attend an eight-hour interactive skills training session offered four times annually at various locations for your convenience. This full-day session is led by subject matter experts and uses live models to provide the realistic training needed to perform and interpret pediatric and neonatal ultrasound imaging. Significant interactive experience is ensured with a low attendee-to-faculty ratio.
SCCM's Ultrasound skill station events in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will be held before the 51st Critical Care Congress. Make the most of your time in Puerto Rico and take advantage of additional learning through Congress, to be held online and in person February 6-9, 2022.
