Harvey, MPH, RN, MCCM, about her upcoming plenary talk, “Post-Intensive Care Syndrome: Truth About Consequences, Right Care Right Now … and Later,” which she will present this February at the 45th Critical Care Congress in Orlando, Florida. Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) is made up of health problems that remain after critical illness, including post-traumatic stress disorder. Ms. Harvey discusses the latest research and practical interventions to help prevent and manage PICS, including implementing the ICU Liberation ABCDEF Bundle.
