Jeffrey Guy, MD, MSc, MMHC, speaks with Omar Badawi, PharmD, MPH, to discuss his article published in the December Critical Care Medicine, “Association Between ICU-Acquired Dysglycemia and In-Hospital Mortality.” Study results suggest severe ICU-acquired hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia and variability are associated with a higher risk of mortality.
