PCCM Audio Summary - November 2025

The November 2025 issue of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) features articles on interventions in the emergency department that may contribute to delirium development during a hospital stay, timing of death of children in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for sepsis, use of a multidimensional portfolio to assess neurodevelopmental sequelae among PICU survivors, and the significance of changes in platelet counts and association with mortality and patient illness factors.
