Registration Hours

Registration kiosks for badge pick up will be available 24 hours a day at the Chicago Ballroom Promenade.   SCCM representatives will be available for assistance during the following hours:  

Sunday, August 8, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30  p.m.
Monday, August 9, 6:30 a.m. – 7:00  p.m.
Tuesday, August 10, 6:30 a.m. – 5:30  p.m.
Wednesday, August 11, 6:30 a.m. – 5:30  p.m.
Thursday, August 12, 6:30 a.m. – 5:00  p.m.
Friday, August 13, 6:30 a.m. – 12:00  p.m.

Badges

Badges are required for entrance to all educational sessions. Lost badges can be replaced at the registration desk in the Ballroom Promenade. Faculty members are easily identified by the ribbons affixed to their name badges.

Parking

Self-parking is available on site directly underneath the Sheraton Grand Chicago Hotel. Attendees can receive a discount on self-parking rates. To receive the discount, have your parking ticket validated by the valet attendant at the end of the day. Complete payment at the pay stations in the garage.
 
Valet parking is also available with no discount. If the on-site lot is full, attendees should choose the valet option and they will receive the discounted rate.

COVID-19 Policies and Guidance

The Society of Critical Care Medicine follows the guidance provided by the CDC and local authorities. Given these guidelines, to attend a live (in-person) SCCM event, all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated. Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask or socially distance, but each person is required to be respectful of the wishes of others.

Attendees will be asked to show proof of full vaccination upon check-in at the live event.

*SCCM is offering this event with the option to attend virtual/online or in person. If this event cannot be held in person or is limited by government order, SCCM will still provide the virtual/online version of the event. If at any time before the event you decide to not participate, you may request and will receive a full refund. Please allow four weeks to process refunds. SCCM shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, or fees related to your cancellation of travel and attendance associated with the event. This includes but is not limited to cancellation of airline tickets, car rental reservations, and hotel reservations.
