SCCM Mentorship Program Toolkit

1/8/2019
SCCM members can now find the Mentorship Program Toolkit in the SCCM Connect Library. Specialty section members are encouraged to become involved in the mentorship program.

The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), the Membership Committee, and the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology (CPP) Section Membership Committees have developed a Mentorship Program Toolkit for use by other SCCM sections based on the experience drawn from the CPP Section’s Mentor and Mentee Program, which launched in 2006 and has been very successful.

SCCM Members can find the Mentorship Program Toolkit in the SCCM Connect Library. SCCM hopes to facilitate the growth of similar programs within the broader SCCM membership by outlining the structure, development process, and resources of the CPP Section’s program as it has evolved over many years.

Specialty section members are encouraged to become involved in the mentorship program. Find a mentor, become a mentor, or help get the program get off the ground within your specialty section.

Contact your section leadership to learn more about getting involved in the program!

Additionally, if you are interested in participating in a conference call to learn more about the CPP Section’s Mentor and Mentee Program or implementation using the toolkit, please contact the CPP Section Chair, Tyree H. Kiser, via email.
