SCCM Connect
Section Members: Log in with your SCCM Customer ID to access SCCM Connect, a new collaborative space to connect members of the critical care community with common interests.

Fostered by the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology (CPP) Section exists to promote the interest of SCCM members active in clinical pharmacy and pharmacology. The section informs and advises the Society on matters pertaining to clinical pharmacy and pharmacology and the practice of multiprofessional critical care, and works to foster the interest of pharmacists and clinical pharmacologists in critical care. In addition, the section encourages and supports research practices and teachings in clinical pharmacy and pharmacology as they relate to critical care.

Section Activities

Mentor and Mentee Program
This program, maintained by the Membership Committee of the CPP Section, is open to all members of the section. The program seeks to provide critical care pharmacists with guidance in their professional growth through interactions that foster excellence in clinical practice, research, teaching, and SCCM/CPP involvement.

Visiting Clinical Professor (VCP) Program
This program, maintained by the Program Committee of the CPP Section, is open to all members of the section. Current members may apply on behalf of their medical center or university. The VCP Program seeks to advance critical care pharmacy practice and teaching.
