Join Chapter

The SCCM Southeast Region Chapter, representing Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee, is a not-for-profit scientific and educational organization whose mission is to advance and improve the care of critically ill and injured patients and to promote the development of optimal facilities, funding and social policies to further these goals. The SCCM Southeast Region Chapter is a multiprofessional organization composed of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals.

The Southeast Region Chapter functions in coordination with and in support of the Society of Critical Care Medicine by sponsoring scientific and educational activities within the region and by representing the region to the national organization.

Although membership in SCCM is not a prerequisite for membership in the Southeast Region Chapter, it is strongly encouraged.
